First off, it's no secret that no matter what business you run, online or offline, if you don't have a steady stream of targeted traffic, you will not make it! But how do you get those streams of targeted traffic? Well there are plenty of ways to do it. If you don't have a huge advertising budget then you can do most of the work yourself, as far as, article submissions, blogging, classified ads, forum marketing etc.
A word of warning, don't waste your time on things like, FFA links, guarenteed traffic, surf for hits etc. The old rule of thumb, if it sounds to good to be true, it is. If all it woould take is to sign up and get 100,000 visitors to your site, and you convert an average of 1-2%, then why wouldn't every website owner be doing that. They don't because it rarely works like that. What Have You Done to Build Your Business Today?
What have you done today to build your business? What ever business you have chosen, online or offline. It makes no difference what type you are building, if you are not taking the day to day actions and putting forth the effort, your business will suffer, and eventually die.
Sad when you see so many businesses and business owners failing. Taking the required actions is just one part of success. You must first have a game plan, a map of where you are, and where you're going. It's funny that we spend months planning our summer holidays, and yet most don;t do any planning when it comes to success in business and life.
If you were going to visit a friend across the country, would you just get into your car and start driving, and hope you make it there? No, you would look at a map, or now adays a GPS, and plot your course of action to get where you're going. Then you would take the necesary action, getting in your car and driving, to reach your end goal or destination. Minute by minute, and hour by hour you would continue to do all the seemingly little things to make sure you stay on course.
All the little things such as, steering your car to keep it in the right lane, getting fuel for the journey, getting advice from someone who has been there before, maybe a short cut, are some that all make sense.
These simple, yet most important actions are no different in your business life. You must do all the little things, which may be hard at first, but will get easier with repatition, to get to your end goal or result.
The great, maybe the greatest running back ever, Walter Payton, did not get huge amounts of rushing yards on every carry, but it was the extra 1 yard or 2 yards that he got over and over on every single play, that made him so great. He did the little things, over and over to become the best.
It's not a big secret, successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do. If it was easy, everyone would be a success. Have a plan of action, do the little things every single day, and never give up, and you will find success.

Just Get Started in Your Online Career
No matter what it is, just get started. Every successful person in history has one thing in common, they 'just got started'It doesn't matter what you want to do, you will not get anywhere unless you 'just get started' You may get sick of hearing this phrase, but they always say 'the truth hurts' Most people don't want to hear the truth, they want to be babied, someone to hold their hand and do it all for them. I was what I just described, until I talked to some friends,they just happened to be multi-millionaires, and the first thing they told me was 'just get started are you sick of that phrase yet??
So here's what I did...I 'just got started' I decided I wanted to renovate a house and sell it for a profit, well I didn't have the money to buy a property...although you hear about buying property for no moneydown, it happens, but it's RARE!! ...so I placed an ad on a real estate investors network, and what do youknow, the next day I got a phone call and within an hour I had an investor that was willing to put up the entire purchase price of the property, when you 'just get started' things seem to magically happen that lead to your ultimate goal. Well to make a long story short, I found a property, renovated it and sold it for a niceprofit(split with my investor), not bad for someone who started with a desire and it all some how worked out.
Now you don't have to believe in anything I say, and here's why, everything I say is not true, it's not false, it's not right, and it's not wrong, it's just my experience, and in my experience when you decide to 'just get started, thing'seem to magically happen for you, what ever it may be. You want to leave your present JOB, don't think you can because you have expenses, monies that must be paid out every month, well let me fill you in on something, everyone has those worries, but when you just get started something will, almost magically, lead you to your end goal. Not sure why, but it does really happen time and time again.
Things start to happen when you just get started, and put in the daily activities you need to reach your end goal. There comes a time in all our lives when you hit a point, and that's it, you must get out of the rat race and live for yourself for once! Well you ready, just get started period!
You don't have to do it all at once, start small, work within your time available. Once you do that and start to see some results, it won't takelong, you will be on your way to the life you dream about.

Greatness Comes in Many Forms
To be considered a great person, one must over come many obstacles along the way. It's no different no matter what we strive for, be it in business, relationships, sport, or anything else we try to achieve greatness.
Every person that was, or is considered to be great, started there journey at the beginning!--by great I include attributes such as: a leader of people-successful in business- influential and strong mentally-solves problems for the masses...those who solve problems for few people get paid as such, those who solve problems for the masses get paid a heck of a lot more!
So what level of greatness do you wish to achieve? That is the million dollar question that you may want to ask yourself. Remember...it is much easier to be a failure at something then it is to be a success. To become a success at anything, you will have to work on your plan, work very hard…some parts will be harder then others.
Some things to make it easier in your journey...
1) Start at the beginning...I know that sounds like common sense but believe it or not, there are so many people that want to start at the CEO level...with the CEO type pay as well. You have to start at the beginning so you can be the best you can be.
2) Have a clear and concise game plan to get where you are, to where you're going...every step of the way. You will have to deviate from it from time to time, but this is only because you will be gaining more knowledge as you go...so this is growth for improvement, and it's OK
3) Stay on task...one thing at a time. When you try to work on to many projects, or you just get caught up in the 'Next Best Thing'...you will lose focus! Put 100% into one thing, then when you have that working with minimal up keep, then you can move on to your next project
4) Ask for help...keep in mind that when starting out you can not be expected to know everything. No matter what you are trying to achieve, there is someone who has succeeded already. Search people who are experts in the field you are pursuing and ask for help.
5) I realize that your budget when you first start out may not be large...sometime it seems like everyone is after your money, but there are lot's of advantages to spending a few dollars to gain an advantage...your budget is limited, so do you research well so you maximize every penny you spend. You can save a bunch of money if you have the time to learn the things you don't already know such as, building a website, posting articles, blogging, etc...It makes sense to spend a dime to make a dollar

Well what ever you do to pay the bills and all the extras, somewhere, someone developed a system to make it all happen. Their are great systems, good systems, and a lot of bad systems out there for you to duplicate. It's important that you find a style or system that resinates with you. Just like you all have friends that closer then others, there will be systems and styles that you will be closer with then others.
If you look back to say...a championship professional sports team like the NY Giants...now this is a sore subject with me because I'm a Patriots fan from way back...but in order for the Giants to succeed in the Superbowl, they needed a system in place, not only that, they needed everyone to believe in that system, and execute the plan. Well, that's just what happened...

--Why try and re-invent the wheel? Why not learn from someone that is successful now! We follow this rule in so many areas already, but most will stray for, what seems to be an easier alternative. Don change the path to success. Research your system or better yet the creater of the system and make sure it works.
Well that's just a couple of reasons for you to follow a successful system, one that is already making people succeed.
